We’re about 80% of the way through improvements at the Oxford Wastewater Treatment Plant, where Carolina Civilworks is working directly with the City of Oxford to deliver some serious upgrades. This job includes converting an old duplex pump station into a modern submersible setup and overhauling the triplex RAS pump station with concrete repairs, coatings, and new submersible pumps. We’ve installed a new electrical building with all new gear, and we’re in the process of finishing out two new disc filters fed by a cast-in-place distribution box and 30-inch piping. There’s also about 3,000 feet of underground duct bank in the ground now, tying everything together.

Right now we’re wrapping up the second disc filter and finishing rehab on the duplex station. More to come soon as we get this one across the finish line.
