Carolina Civilworks is hiring for the position of Foreman. We are looking for a talented, experienced foreman with a track record in civil construction. We are looking for an individual, skilled in supervision and responsible for the direct hands-on work of a plant/pump station crew. You will oversee the execution of project objectives, ensuring safety, quality control, and productivity.

Carolina Civilworks is looking for an Asst. Project Manager to support our current team of project managers in overseeing all aspects of our active projects from groundbreaking to final completion. Some preconstruction services will also be required, ensuring smooth transitions from estimation to project execution. Ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the construction industry and demonstrate exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend project meetings with Owners, Customers, and Engineers to ensure proper coordination and resolution of unresolved issues.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers, keeping them informed of construction progress and technical challenges/solutions. This will involve frequent site visits.
- General oversight of document control and management processes.
- Develop and implement project working drawings to maximize productivity.
- Assist PMs with the change management process.
- Develop material take-offs for various aspects of the work.
- Prepare pay applications.
- Prepare & present three (3) week lookahead schedules.
- Participate in preparing budgets and setting up project financials.
- Oversee coordination drawing process.
- Participate in subcontractor progress and start-up meetings.
- Ensure seamless project turnover from preconstruction/estimating to operations through proper hand-off meetings and information transfer.
- Manage project buy-out processes and formalize agreements with subcontractors and material vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or at least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Solid understanding of construction industry practices, safety requirements, contract management, planning/scheduling, budgeting, building products, and technology.
- Fluent in reading plans, specifications, and project documents.
- Key Competencies: Leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, results-oriented management, and coaching/mentoring skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and On-Screen Take-off.
