Carolina Civilworks partnered with the City of Sanford to upgrade critical infrastructure at their wastewater treatment facility. The scope included installation of two new owner-provided blowers and decommissioning of two existing units. We also coordinated the startup process with the blower manufacturer to ensure seamless integration.

System controls were updated in coordination with CITI, who handled the SCADA programming. Sanford Electrical Contractors managed electrical work, and our crew performed necessary modifications and additions to the blower piping.

These blowers supply heated air to the digesters—an essential step in the treatment process. This project helps improve operational efficiency and reliability for the City’s wastewater system.
